Whoa! Today was a busy one (it’s technically Sunday…but oh well!). We started off doing pictures with little Miss Ashlyn Farwell. My assistant (my little sister Caroline) and I headed out to the Farwell Ranch this morning and we did some out around their house. Then Caroline and I headed back into town to get some lunch while Kristin laid Ashlyn down for a nap. They came into town around 3 to finish up the rest of her session at my parents house. I’M IN LOVE WITH ALL OF ASHLYNS PICTURES!!! You have got to see this girls bright blue eyes! I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her, I finally had to tell Kristin to just take her away because I wouldn’t stop if she was still sitting in front of me :) She did so good and she was so smiley and happy pretty much the whole time…expect for when she face planted onto the brick patio…and when she had to sit on some pine needles….and when she had to sit on a hay bail, but other than she was awesome! Thank you Kristin and Ashlyn. We had fun hanging out with you guys today :)
I also did some pictures of Asa Sparks. He is my sister in law’s little brother and he will be a Freshman this year at Kirksville High School. We took some laid back ones at my parents house and then we headed over to the baseball fields for some AWESOME pictures. I’m serious, they were awesome. I almost died when I saw them. You will just have to take a look :)
After those pictures Caroline and I decided to sneak over to our sister Allison’s house. Jackson and Ellie had been begging for a Sleepover at their house, but everyone was just too tired (even though I’m sitting here at 1:30AM typing this). We called Allison and told her not to tell the kids were coming over. We drove over and then snuck into their backyard and army crawled across their back patio. Their living room is basically all windows on the back and looks out over their backyard/patio…so this is why we army crawled…not because we are morons…well, I guess we could technically be considered morons for doing this in the first place. Anyway- we made our way across the patio and then put our heads right up against the glass at the bottom of their French doors. None of them, including Allison, noticed us even though Jackson and Ellie were laying on the ground like 3 feet away from where we were. So I tapped my nails on the glass and we ducked and waited…and waited. We finally popped our heads back up and they were all just staring at the door with wide eyes and completely terrified. It was fun :) We then proceeded to get the kids all riled up with a variety of activities which included the following: dance moves contest, spinning in circles while looking up at the ceiling, wrestling, wrestling with pillow cases on their heads, sliding down the basement stairs with pillows, sliding down the basement stairs with sleeping bags, etc. I don’t know what you guys do on your Saturday nights, but we tend to get a little crazy around here :) Then we left Allison to fend for herself and little Lincoln. Good Luck Ali!
I’m off to bed now, enjoy all the sneak peeks! I have another shoot tomorrow in Columbia with Miss Sophie Bethel. Yayyyy! Get ready Sophie :)
P.S.- None of Asa’s sneak peak pictures are edited because I’m sooo tired, but I want to get them up before I go to bed. These are straight out of camera shoots and I love love love them! Enjoy!
