Woah…..what a day :-)
Soooooo I spent Friday helping Sara get ready for a big baby shower she was throwing on Saturday. Sara is v-e-r-y pregnant right now and really shouldn’t be doing a lot, let alone getting ready for and putting on a baby shower.
This is where I enter. My mom told Sara to just sit down and tell me what do the whole day. Thanks mom! Anyway- we got a lot done on Friday, but this means I didn’t get home till after midnight. Not a huge deal, but I had to be in Columbia this morning by 9:00 AM for my shoots.
I was fine all day until about 30 minutes outside of St. Louis and that’s when I started to get reallly sleepy. So what do I do??? In very true Lissy fashion, I call my pregnant friend and see if she wants to go get margaritas when I get back into town. Obviously I was the one drinking the margaritas.
Woo hoo!!!
I now have all THIRTY TWO sneak peek photos ready and currently uploading. I can barely keep my eyes open, but they will get posted!!! I have two shoots tomorrow and I know I won’t have any time tomorrow morning to post sneak peeks from today, so I just gotta do it :-)
You’ll have to excuse me if I type something that doesn’t make sense…like I said, I’m tired….
Today was packed with shoots. I originally had 9 shoots scheduled, but one ended up being a no show…so I got to hang out in the park for 30 minutes and just enjoy the beautiful day without army crawling throw the grass, rolling around in mulch and laying on the sidewalk.
Yes, those are all things I do while taking pictures. I looked like one big ball of mud and leaves and mulch every time I stood up. Luckily I had my great assistant (Audrey Hagan) there to boss around, pick leaves out of my hair, hold blankets up to block the sunlight, carry around my bag, answer my phone and check my “seschuel” (for some reason we thought it was funny to call it that all day, ha!) THANK YOU SO MUCH AUDREY!! I think your first day on the job was success :-)
Anyway- all this meant that I had so many cute kids and babies to play with all day :-) oh man were they cute! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all their pictures. I’m so tired right now, so I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.
Thanks for coming out this afternoon and enjoy your sneak peeks!!!
It’s now 1:00 AM….
night night :-)

Lissy…WOW! These are precious….little chubby cheeks, the little girl in pink just says “HAPPY”, the little “red head” holding her Mommy & Daddy’s fingers,(you know how I feel about red heads), the sister’s laughing at one another (I’m partial to sister shoots), the little girl in pink with chubby legs (love them too!), little piggy’s in the grass,(precious) , love, love, love the next little girls attitude & her baby brother’s beautiful eyes!!! And of course, little girls, in cute little dresses will always be a favorite!
Thank you for taking care of your sister, Lissy ~ and thank you Audrey for helping Lissy…love these pictures!!

Lissy you simply amaze me. I love them all. Really how do you do all of that? I think we should call you “Super Lissy” for now on. Thank you Audrey for helping Lis … you are always a great friend. Lissy – thank you for helping Sara. She really needed to sit down and put her feet up. Baby Sedlak needs to “bake” a little longer. You are an amazing sister. We are all very blessed to call you our sister.
Love,
Amanda

Lissy– wonderful photos! Good luck with your busy weekend. Your photo shoots went incredibly well with my girls and with my friends’ babies. They are all SO pleased. We would love to see you again this summer for a longer photo shoot; likely our friends will want to do the same!
