I love this idea! I think everyone should do it! I’m going to make my family do it next time we’re all together. Brother-in-law’s, it’s time to put on your big boy pants and smile for my pictures :) Kidding! I should say that they all are very tolerant of my constant picture taking. Thanks

I’m thinking of different things I can do to make my photography packages stand out from other photographers. One idea I’ve been entertaining is offering the option to order an “Artistic Print” from me after you have reviewed your photos. Artistic meaning that I will manipulate it and put different Photoshop effects into the picture.
I’m working on getting this whole business thing organized with the help of my wonderful sister Allison…thanks Ali :) I feel like everything is happening so fast, which I guess that’s how it goes, but oh man is it mentally exhausting overwhelming! Although I do love it :) I’m also trying to finish editing my
I wanted to post some professional pictures from Kaitlin’s wedding. They are just too pretty not to post. I realize that it’s not the smartest thing in the world seeing as how I’m trying to do this whole photography business thing, but Jennifer Roberts is a great wedding photographer out of Columbia. This afternoon I got to hang out with these two spunky girls, Kylee & Hailee Selby. They were such good sports during their shoot. I had a lot of new ideas that I wanted to try out on them and we had 4 outfit changes!! They did such a good job of sticking it out

Um, yes I did. I know you’re thinking there is no way Lissy took those pictures. There is no way Lissy was ready to get up at 5:00 AM to get sunrise pictures, there is no way Lissy walked around in pastures littered with cow nastiness, there is no way Lissy got that close to
I made my way back to Kirksville this afternoon. I was welcomed home by my little sister Caroline standing in the front door in her towel saying “Heeeeyyyyyaaaa! I totally forgot you were coming home!”… Gee, thanks :) The house was soon invaded by the Farwell family and they are always excited to see me,
I wanted to post this real quick before I went to bed. I hope you find it as funny as I do…you probably won’t, but I laughed the whole time I was making it :) I took these pictures on the beach the other day and we were all joking that it looked like the
Thanks for the comments about my picture. So sweet :) After re-reading the post I realized that I totally sounded like I was fishing for compliments. Crap! Not the intention at all, but oh well! I still think I would like to get a picture with my hair not looking like…well…what it looks like in
So while we were at the beach my family decided that I needed to get a picture of myself for my blog… I hate pictures of myself. Ugh, I’m always disappointed in them. Don’t worry- I’m not going to sit here and be like “I’m so ugly, I hate my face, blah blah blah.” I’m
It’s our last day at the beach…this day makes me sad :( I braved the elements yesterday and decided to take my camera down to the beach yesterday afternoon… Luckily it all went well and my camera survived. Here are some unedited pictures from yesterday afternoon and also a sneak peak from our family photo shoots yesterday.
